I'm being induced on Friday, 5:30 am. Tomorrow is my last day in the office. Yikes! I can't believe this time is really upon us. But we feel as ready as we can, I guess.
I'm still trying desperately to finish my thank you notes before I'm running on no sleep. We'll see if I make it. I think I can.
Our Internet has been down since Saturday and is up again but not fully functional. Just one computer. Our washing machine broke down on Sunday and we had to go to Sears and replace it. It's being delivered and installed Thursday.
Lots of stuff to finish really. But if it doesn't get done at this point, so be it. (Although the washing machine is pretty important.) Soon we'll have a much more important task to be focused on... parenthood.
Today we went to the fire station and had the car seat checked out by the pros and we had our two last birthing classes crammed into a one hour session at the doctors' office. Talk about test taking anxiety.
Anyway, we've got almost everyone on the distribution email list. I think the first mode of information will be the blog though. We can post to it from our cell phones. Who knows when we can get to a computer to send an email. The doctor thinks the baby will be here around dinner time on Friday. Can you believe it!?

Okay...it's been a while since I've visited the blog. So, I'm going to cover a lot of ground in this commentary.
1. You guys are going to be amazing parents!
2. Baby E. is one lucky kid.
3. I can't wait to finally meet Baby E. this Friday. Wonder how big he/she will be... Wonder if it will be a he or a she...
4. The baby's room is beautiful.
5. Handy Cat is in for a rude awakening about the new pecking order in the house after Baby E's arrival.
6. I love the Envirosax. You'll be happy to know that I finally got my granny shopping cart thanks to a gift from Carmen.
7. I'd listen to those Korean ladies...we know of what we speak!
8. I think you're having a boy... because I think so. No fancy voodoo magic, just my gut feeling.
9. Think about a baby photo calendar as gifts for the grandparents this Christmas. It only costs like $10 dollars. These were the biggest hits for my brother and sis-in-law, grandparents, and great-grandma last Christmas. Not to mention...I kept my title as "coolest Aunt" ever.
10. Finally...in closing...I have been privileged to be there from the beginning of your story. And now, you're going to be a family! I couldn't be happier for you. I look forward to watching Baby E. grow up into the amazing person you will both shape him/her into.
Love you guys a lot.
Audrey
